Owensboro police want to share a warning from the FBI. A scam is now on the rise across the country trying to get your personal information. A caller claims to be a jury duty coordinator, saying you didn't show up for jury duty, and there is now a warrant for your arrest. When you reply you were never notified of jury duty, the person asks for your social security number, birth date, or bank information to verify their paperwork. Do not give out any information!
