Gibson Southern football is a regional champ for the first time in school history.  This is only the fourth winning season in 20 years.
And with first year head coach Nick Hart leading the way, this is yet another example of how one team, one season can impact an entire community.
In tiny Fort Branch, Indiana all signs point to Gibson Southern High School. The Titans are on a storybook run.  They're latest accomplishment came after going into halftime against #2 Charlestown down 49-21.  Outscoring the record setting Pirate offense 36-0 in the second half, the titans came out on top.
Senior quarterback Jordan Scheller accounted for all eight touchdowns.  Five in the air and three more on the ground.
The remarkable second half comeback shows this is one team, one town, one family.
"I appreciate the parents," says senior Garrett Elpers.  "They've put up signs all over town. Even at home, they've decorated our homes, so they've made it really special."
It's special for the players, special for the schoolm, special for all of Fort Branch.
