The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is gathering information on damage suffered from recent floods.
To help speed up the process of assessing the damage, the department is asking residents who took a loss to call a toll free number:
1-866-210-1925
Beginning Monday, you can call this number from 9:00 until 6:00 Monday through Friday.
Losses can include structural and loss of personal property.
The purpose of this is to quantify losses from flooding and determine if federal assistance is needed.
