Agency Celebrates Adoption Day in Vand. Co. Courtroom

In the state of Indiana, there are more than a thousand children waiting
to be adopted, many of them are right here in the Evansville area.
Today, November 15th, is National Adoption Day. As a way to celebrate, and raise awareness about the need for adoptive parents, the agency known as the Children's Bureau, hosted an adoption celebration at the Civic Center in downtown Evansville.
8 families adopted 13 children in Judge Brett Niemeier's courtroom. And while the adoption process can often be a long one, those involved say it's worth the wait.
