The Blue Angels will be back in Evansville for the 2013 Shrinersfest.

One of the group's members landed his F/A 18 Hornet at Tri-State Aero, on Friday, to make the official announcement.

The Angels have a new team, with a new leader, and say they are excited to start the 2013 flying season, which will bring them to Evansville in July.

"We represent the 550,000 Sailors and Marines out there on the front lines, we take that job seriously and we take a lot of privilege and honor to do it, I mean that's what we're gonna bring out to the people of Evansville. So they can get an up close look at what their Navy and Marine Corp do on an everyday basis", said Blue Angels Lt. Cmdr. Michael Cheng.

The group cancelled their last scheduled air show in Evansville in 2011, following an incident where the planes flew lower than they were supposed to at another demonstration.
