Senator Hillary Clinton made a stop in western Kentucky rallying the base and making her case for president. She spoke yesterday at the annual Democratic Dinner at Madisonville North Hopkins High School. It was hard to find those not excited to her appearance, she had the young and old all singing her praise. Senator Clinton made the stop at the annual Ruby Laffoon Democratic Dinner and Fundraiser. This after candidates for office were recognized and Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear spoke. She hit on national issues and those specific to the state Clinton encouraged the audience to vote for her just as they did for her husband former President Bill Clinton. But didnt stop there, a good portion of Senator Hillary Clintons speech was electing a democratic presidential nominee ready to go toe to toe with John Mccain and ready to take that 3am call. Clinton: "I am ready to be that Commander In Chief and make the decisions that will protect our country and protect our troops." A statement that went over well with the audience.
