Fire Destroys House

By: Import User
Updated: March 13, 2007
Just after 3 Wednesday morning - crews were called to a house fire in Cairo. The fire was just two houses north of the fire department -- but crews say the home was already fully engulfed in flames by the time somebody reported the fire. Firefighters had a diffucult time putting it out because a metal roof had been installed on top of the asphalt shingles. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The homeowner was not at home. No reported injuries.
