Woman Airlifted After Pennyrile Crash Sunday

HENDERSON - Eyewitness News on the scene of a major accident on the Pennyrile Parkway in Henderson County, Sunday.
Police were called out to the northbound lanes of the parkway between mile markers 78 and 79.
Investigators say William Weise of Owensboro was southbound when he tried to change lanes-- Clarence Davis of Boonville hit the back of Weise's car spinning it out of control as it crossed into the median.
A northbound Prius driven by Shirley Nickens of Evansville hit Weises's car.
She was extricated from her car and flown to Saint Mary's Hospital. Her passenger, Diana Sutton was driven by ambulance to Saint Mary's.
No other injuries have been reported.
Traffic in the northbound lanes was at a standstill for almost an hour.
