Ohio County Man Could Face Murder Charges After Fatal Accident

Ohio County Sheriff David Thompson says his team will pursue murder charges for Tony Berkley. Berkley is accused of causing a deadly accident in Dundee, the northern part of Ohio County. His 18-year-old daughter, Melissa Berkley died and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Jerry Goodman, Jr., is critically injured.

Thursday night, police were called to S.R. 878, where a car had flipped into a pond. The car was carrying Melissa Berkley and Goodman Jr. Melissa's family tells us she died Saturday morning at the University of Louisville Hospital. Sheriff Thompson says Goodman Jr. is in critical condition at Deaconess Hospital. Tony Berkley was arraigned in court today. His case heads to a grand jury tomorrow morning.
