EPD Investigating Death of a Child

Investigators believe the child died after a large television fell off its' stand and landed on top of the boy. This happened just before five o-clock at an apartment on North Elsas Avenue.
Police say the boy was taken to the hospital but later died.
We're told it appears to have been an accident, although detectives are still processing information from the scene.
The Vanderburgh County Coroner's office will perform an autopsy in the coming days.
We'll be watching for new information.
