Kentucky Area Code Change Delayed

All western Kentucky residents can continue using the 270 area code for another two years. The Kentucky Public Service Commission says its efforts to expand the life of the prefix are working, but they will not last forever. The Commission originally wanted cities like Henderson and Madisonville to start using the 364 area code in July of 2008. That date was pushed back to January 2009 and has now been pushed back even farther to April 2010.
