Henderson's old power plant's days may be numbered.
The city first considered cleaning up the property, but contract bids for environmental clean-up were higher than expected. Now, the city is considering tearing the plant down to clear the way for future development.
The city will have to buy the property and assess environmental hazards before demolishing the building.
