Raymond Martin's two life sentences for dealing marijuana, witness tampering, and attempting to conceal financial transactions, were vacated by a court of appeals in Chicago back in August.
Martin's attorney successfully argued that the sentencing judge failed to follow the guidelines for his charges.
Martin has been in custody since May of 2009, when federal agents arrested him at his office in Shawneetown.
Martin is currently being held in the federal penitentiary near Tucson, Arizona.
