Police Conduct Sobriety Checkpoint in Mt. Vernon Overnight

Indiana State Police teamed up with the Posey County Sheriff's Department last night to conduct a sobriety checkpoint in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. It was between midnight and 2 a.m. on S.R. 62 at Plaza Dr. Officers checked 61 total drivers that passed through. Troopers did issue seven warnings and one ticket during the checkpoint, but no arrests were made.
