Police Arrest Evansville Man for Leaving Children Alone

An Evansville man is accused of leaving his children home alone. David Jenkins faces charges of child neglect and public intoxication. Child protective services asked police to visit Jenkins's home to check on his children. Officers say when they arrived, they saw Jenkins leave. And when they went into the home, they found three children asleep. Police say when Jenkins got back, he had a blood-alcohol level of .09.
