Purdue Has Its Next Football Coach

UPDATE:  It's official.  Purdue says it has hired Darrell Hazell as its next football coach.  Hazell was recenlty named coach of the year in the Mid American Conference.  He lead Kent State to its first winning season since 2001, and its first bowl appearcne in more than four decades.


Purdue has apparently has an agreement with its next football coach.
Blackandgold.com reports that Kent State Coach Darrell Hazell and the school have agreed to terms, and that an official announcement will likely be made Wednesday.
Hazell has spent the past two seasons at Kent State, where he compiled a 16-9 record.
The Northeast Ohio Sun News reports Harrell will get a 5 year deal worth $2 million.
