Council Approves EMA Office Move, Rejects Funding

Officials with the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Emergency Management Agency want to move from near Diamond Ave. to the county jail. Today, the County Council approved the idea to move, but not the funding. A spokesperson for the EMA says the move will provide much-needed space and security, but now the agency will have to find the money to do it themselves.
