Daviess County, IN Man Charged With Stealing Nearly $100 in Gas

A Washington, Indiana man is accused of stealing nearly a hundred dollars worth of gasoline.
Michael Norrington is accused of driving away from a Shell Gas Station in Oakland City on Sunday.
Shortly after the alleged incident, an Indiana State Trooper spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one seen leaving the station.
Troopers say once they stopped the car, they found two gas cans in the trunk. They say they also found a metal smoking device in the glove box.
Troopers also say Norrington was driving without a license.
He is being held in the Gibson County Jail.
