A multi-vehicle accident causes Highway 41 to shut down temporarily in Gibson County. The Gibson County Sheriff's Department says two cars were involved in a wreck at the corner of Highway 41 and Country Road 350 South, just north of Toyota. Deputies say a passenger vehicle traveling north on 41 attempted to pass in the right lane at the intersection. The driver then tried to merge back into the left lane and rear ended a welders truck. One person in the truck was taken to a local hospital, but no one else was hurt. The driver was cited for causing the accident.
