Former Reitz QB McIntosh on Northern Illinois Orange Bowl Opportunity

By: Ryan Braschler
Updated: December 11, 2012
Former Reitz Panther Matt McIntosh may be the redshirt freshman backup to All-American Jordan Lynch at Northern Illinois.  But he'll still be making the trip to Miami for the FedEx Orange Bowl in January.
The Huskies are playing #12 Florida State in their first ever BCS Bowl appearance.  McIntosh says it's an honor to learn from someone as prolific as Lynch, and he's looking forward to his first trip to Miami.
Northern Illinois defeated #17 Kent State in the MAC Championship to earn their BCS ticket.  Their only loss on the year came in Week 1 when they fell to Iowa.
