Webster County Sheriff Deputy Injured after Hitting Deer

A Webster County Sheriff's Deputy had to be taken to the hospital after hitting a deer in is patrol car. Officials say Deputy Roy Starkey of Providence was heading east on Kentucky 132 near Dixon on Tuesday, when he hit and killed the deer. Authorities did not comment on how seriously the deputy was injured but did say he was wearing his seatbelt at the time.
