Quinn to Pursue "Strict Laws" That Protect Illinois Citizens from Gun Violence

CHICAGO (AP) -- Governor Pat Quinn says he will pursue the passage of "strict laws" that protect Illinois citizens from gun violence. The governor has issued a statement on the Connecticut school shootings and ordered that flags across the state be flown at half-staff in memory of the more than two-dozen children and adults who were killed.
