EVANSVILLE - Many are making their way out to see a Christmas classic,The Nutcracker Ballet was performed Saturday in Evansville.

Its a holiday tradition for many in the Tri-State. The Evansville Philharmonic presents this Christmas classic accompanied by the Evansville Ballet each year.

Artistic director Mark Bush says every year they do their best to keep audiences entertained.

"I think every year it's kind of like putting out Christmas decorations, but sometimes adding new ones as well. You want to, kind of, rearrange the whole living room so to speak. So, I've added some new variations mixed in with some of the old. Its like getting a new gift every year."

The fifty member cast also includes Evansville native Don Mattingly who plays Mother Ginger for the second year.
