Authorities got the car open and removed the child. Officials say they also found marijuana in the car in two different places.

Officials tell Eyewitness News several announcements were made over the loudspeaker in Menards, but 30 minutes apparently passed with no response from the parents.

The parents, 26-year-old Ross Ivy and 25-year-old Kylie Moore were arrested. Officers say they were in the store for 45 minutes. Both were arrested for Neglect of a Dependent and Possession of Marijuana.

The infant was placed with a family member.
