Plans on Schedule for International Bluegrass Center

An International Bluegrass Music Center will soon be located inside the old state building in downtown Owensboro.
City leaders say the project will cost $10 million, but will be partially covered by the developer who we're told has secured $2.5 million.
The city is covering at least $3 million.
The remaining funds will need to be in place by August of next year.
Mayor Ron Payne says the design and funding plans are on schedule.
