A Henderson church that operates a food pantry says while the pantry is keeping busy, it's seeing a huge need for something else. First Assembly of God says it's getting about 30 calls a week from people who say they're struggling to pay their rent and utilities. One of the first places many look to for help are churches, but First Assembly is unable to provide financial assiatance. The resource pastor says places that do provide monetary help are struggling.

"You're not always able financially to take care of those needs," said Resource Pastor Michele Nally. "There are a lot of different resources within the community. But when you have the need we have here locally, most of those places are as tapped out as everywhere else. "

The church's food pantry takes care of about 150 families a month. They of course always accept any donations.
