Evansville Shooting Leaves One Dead

Just after 7pm tonight Evansville police responded to a fatal shooting in the 500 block of S. Denby Avenue.
Officers say they took four people into custody and are currently questioning the person who they say fired the shots.
Detectives are working to secure a search warrant for 505 S. Denby Avenue and say they have not yet recovered a weapon.
Jason Cullum of EPD says "This is a dispute between people who knew each other prior to the shooting."
Police have not released any details about the victim or suspect in this case.
