Bank Robbery Reported in Henderson

UPDATE: The search is on for a man who robbed a Henderson bank Friday morning.

Henderson Police say it happened just after 9:00 AM at the Fifth Third Bank branch on South Green Street.  The robber entered the bank, demanded money, then left with an unknown amount.  He also wrote on a note that he had a gun, but no firearm was presented.  The suspect's described as a white man in his 40s or 50s with a gray/brown goatee.  He's also believed to be 6'0" weighing 200 lbs.  Anyone with information on this robbery can call Henderson Crime Stoppers at 270-831-1111.


Henderson police are on the scene of a reported bank robbery.
Few details are available at this time, but the robbery was reported just after 9:00 at the Fifth Third bank branch on Green Street.
The robber is described as a white male with a beard.  He apparently was not wearing a mask when he robbed the bank.
The man was last seen walking south on Main from the bank.
