The roads may look clear, but it's still dangerous on the road.

Dispatchers in much of the Tri-State have reported several minor accidents and cars ending up in ditches.  In Evansville, many drivers are taking it easy and some are doing their best to avoid the snow and sleet.  But they're worried about those who aren't being as careful.

"I don't think other drivers pay attention and don't adjust for the conditions on the roads, and I think that's what causes most wrecks.  So, I rather not be out there and be one of them," says Teresa Mosley of Evansville.

INDOT says most main roads, like Highway 41, were clear Saturday afternoon.  But they're also watching for slick spots and re-freezing roads, especially with temperatures that could be as low as the mid-10s overnight.  Meanwhile, Evansville drivers are reminding others to be careful if they have to go out.

"If you take your time, slow down, be courteous to your other drivers," says Rick Mathias of Winslow.  "You'll get through it."
