Kentucky State Police say the number of people who died on Bluegrass highway's is up from a year ago. Tonight, troopers with the department say they will be out in full force in hopes of keeping drivers safe. Right now, the latest numbers show 735 people died on Kentucky roadways during 2012. 714 died on Kentucky roads in 2011. Through Christmas, 317 of this year's victims were not wearing seatbelts, and 139 deaths resulted from crashes involving alchohol.
