Elastec/American Marine Introduces New Pollution Equipment

The Elastec/American Marine Company in Carmi has new equipment to control water pollution. It has acquired the BoomVaneTM from Sweden to deploy oil spill containment booms in rivers and open water. This unique device is fueled by the water's current, and can tow a boom from the shore without boats or anchors. This makes oil spill recovery faster and less expensive.
