One of the more popular resolutions is eating healthier. Some shoppers at Fresh Market in Evansville are getting a jump start on their promise to eat more fruits and less fats. But others say they're trying to get back to healthier habits after eating all those Christmas cookies.
"After New Year's, you always try to focus more on getting off on a good start and doing the best you can," says Marion Wiggins of Madisonville. "We eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, but you can make some really unhealthy cookies on a plant-based diet."
Managers at Adele's Naturally in Evansville say they see a spike in sales of weight loss items in January.
