Kentucky Unlikely to Discuss Casino Gambling During Next Legislative Session

Governor Steve Beshear is sounding less optimistic about the odds of passing a Constitutional amendment on casino gambing in Kentucky's next legislative session. The governor says lawmakers are facing a lot of other tough issues, and they only have 30 days to tackle them all. Despite the long history of betting on horses,Kkentucky has never allowed casinos. And many lawmakers have been reluctant to change that. The session is set to begin next week.
