FEMA will take into consideration a number of factors, like the state and local response, as well as the impact on public health and safety to determine what resources are needed. Meanwhile, Old Shawneetown is keeping afloat.
Right now, only residents of Old Shawneetown are allowed in. Anyone in Gallatin county who has suffered economic or physical damage from the floods should call the supervisor of assessments for assistance.
