The Indiana Department of Transportation awards a $57 million contract to an Indiana company to construct a three-mile stretch of Interstate 69. The expansion begins near Dry Branch Rd. in Greene County and ends just before the State Road 45 interchange. The bid submitted by White Construction of Clinton was the lowest among five contractors. One additional construction contract remains to be awarded to the 27 miles of section four between Crane and Bloomington. INDOT is scheduled to start taking bids in March.
