Advertisement Suggests Kentucky Become Smoke-Free

A new advertising campaign in Kentucky says the state needs a state-wide smoke-free law to protect residents from second-hand smoke. According to the ad, smoking costs $3.8 billion in medical expenses and lost productivity. It also says 29 percent of adults in Kentucky smoke. That's the highest rate in the country. If the proposed legislation passes, it would make all indoor work places and public places in Kentucky smoke free.
