VHS Striving to Reduce the Number of Pit Bulls in Shelters

"We do that," said Kendall Paul of VHS, "because we want to reduce the overall numbers of these dogs in our community, but we also want to make sure that the ones that are in our community are neutered so that does create a safer dog. We want to make sure those animals are fixed which is going to reduce aggression."
Paul says 99 percent of fatal attacks come from male dogs who not neutered.
