Posey County Woman Pleads Guilty to Hit and Run

A Posey County woman pleas guilty to a hit and run in Gibson County back in April. 24-year-old Brittany Bauman of Mt. Vernon was sentenced to 20 months on work release and 12 more months of home detention. Her driver's license is also suspended for five years.

Police say Bauman was driving on U.S. 41 last April, when her vehicle went off the road and hit bicyclist Aaron Henry of Princeton. Police say she stopped to move the bike and drove off. Henry was airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he was treated for serious injuries.
