Illinois Pension Reform on Hold

The Illinois General Assembly held its first full day of the legislative session Thursday, but no action was taken in resolving the state's 96-billion-dollar pension debt.
The sponsors of two different proposals are putting their plans on file for discussion when lawmakers return in a few weeks.
With dozens of new members in the State House and Senate, sponsors of the proposals are hoping to see change.
