Tow Boat Makes Contact With Twin Bridges

A tow boat made contact with one of the piers on the Twin Bridges between Henderson and Evansville early Monday morning.
The H.B. Stewart was pushing 12 empty barges, when the crew says the wind blew the vessel into the pier just before 1:30.
There was no visible damage to the bridge, however, inspectors are expected to check with the Kentucky Transportation Research Center to determine whether the contact registered on the bridge's impact sensors.
