Officials Say Still Plenty of Flu Shots Left in Illinois

Illinois' top doctor says the demand for flu shots is creating some shortages, but he says that's good news because it means people are getting the message to protect themselves and those around them. The State Department of Public Health Director says there's no shortage of the vaccine in Illinois and along side Governor Pat Quinn is reminding Illinois residents it's important to get vaccinated. In addition to the 27 deaths, nearly 370 people in Illinois have been admitted to hospital intensive care units with flu-related problems. The shot is available at doctor's offices, clinics, and even pharmacies.
