It looks like an act by a dying Henderson woman may have saved the life of a baby.
Investigators are looking into a fatal fire that happened Sunday at 419 Lieber Street in Henderson.
Inside the home, crews found an older woman huddled over an infant, as if shielding her from the flames.
The fire chief says 67 year old Ruth Pearson died overnight, but the 8 month old baby, Marissa McGuire, survived.
One firefighter called Pearson a hero.
