OMHS Receives Another Distinguished Hospital Award

Great news for another western Kentucky hospital, who once again scores higher rankings than many others in the country. Owensboro Medical Health System announces today it receives the Distinguished Hospital Award for clinical excellence for the 5th consecutive year. That is out of 4,500 hospitals nationwide. Healthgrades says facilities in the top five percent have an overall 31 percent lower mortality rate than those not earning the excellence award. OMHS is also in the top 10 percent in the nation for cardiology, stroke, pulmonary, and critical care.
