PREVIOUS REPORT: 53-year-old James Allen Morris is facing two charges of robbery tonight after Henderson Police say they found evidence in his home linked to a robbery at the Green River Area Federal Credit Union Thursday.
Around 2 p.m. detectives say Morris went into the Credit Union on 2nd Street and implied he had a gun. Two schools near the scene were placed on temporary lockdown while officers looked for the suspect.
Acting on a tip, officers say they found Morris at a home on Gabe Street.
Investigators believe Morris may be linked to at least 8 other robberies including the one in August of last year at Independent Bank and at the Bank of Henderson, both of which were robbed within one hour of each other.
Morris is being held in the Henderson County Jail without bond.
