Starbucks Launching Everyday Brew
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Starbucks will hold a massive launch party tomorrow for its new Pike Place Roast brew.
Between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. all U.S. company-owned Starbucks will hand out free short servings of the new everyday brew.
Starbucks master coffe-blender Andrew Linnemann says Pike Place will be offered daily in both regular and decaf along with a third bold-style coffee.
While he wouldnt give up the source of the beans used, Linnemann did say the blend would be sold for just under ten-bucks a pound.
Starbucks has seen a drop in business in recent months as the U.S. economy slows down and places like McDonalds offer up stiff competition in the specialty coffee market.
The roll out of Pike Place is part of the companys effort to boost U.S. traffic.
