Purdue students are praising their new leader, former Governor Mitch Daniels. They're giving him high marks for his sharp memory and accessibility to them in his first week on campus. Faculty leaders give him an "A-plus" for effort so far. Daniels is eyeing a series of issues including how fast the school moves to a trimester system, how it improves the diversity of students and staff, how he handles lingering ethics issues, and how he improves fundraising for the college.
