UPDATE: Warrick County School officials say the lockdown at Castle High School has been lifted.  We are expecting a statement from the Superintendent's office soon. We will bring you the very latest information as we receive it.

PREVIOUS: Castle High School, in Warrick County, is on lockdown as police look into a possible threat against the school.

According to Warrick County Superintendent, Brad Schneider, the school learned of a potential threat made on Facebook.  Schneider says the alleged threat was made by someone he calls a "young man', and that the individual is not at school today.

Schneider did not go into specifics about the threat, but says law enforcement is currently trying to locate the person and that the school is taking all necessary steps to ensure student safety, including placing the building on lockdown.

We are continuing to follow this story and will bring you new information as it becomes available.
