It looks like students in Indiana are one step closer to being required to learn cursive writing. The Indiana Senate Education Committee voted 7 to 4 today to require students in the Hoosier State to learn cursive. It's currently not part of required curriculum, but education officials believe it's a valuable skill students need to have. Even though it isn't required, many educators still teach it. The bill now moves to the full Senate.
