Sponsorship Deals Net EVSC High Schools Some Extra Cash

Evansville schools are racking up some extra funds.
Ten checks, totaling more than 115-thousand dollars were distributed to EVSC's five high school principals and athletic directors at Monday night's school board meeting.
The funding comes from scoreboard sponsorship deals at each school gym. Leaders will now use the funds on a variety of different projects and needs at each school. In the past, this money has been used for classroom strategies for interactive learning, student memberships for various organizations, among others.
