Some sticker shock for drivers filling up this morning. Gas prices in the Tri-State rose nearly 30 cents a gallon overnight. The price for a gallon of self serve regular unleaded in selling for about $3.65 on the strip in Henderson. The average price is a few cents higher in Evansville. The Swifty's Station in Henderson was still selling gas for $3.35 during the morning drive, and customers were backed up getting into the gas station to take advantage of what seemed like a "bargain."
